DCJ Group Insurance & Risk Management finds its perfect match

DCJ Group Insurance & Risk Management Limited (“DCJ Group”) one of the longest established insurance and risk management businesses in North East Derbyshire, founded in 1991, has recently announced the acquisition of Easi Limited (Evans & Salt Insurance Services and David Slater Insurance Services).

Completion of the deal represented a highly successful conclusion to strategic-level discussions between the companies.  Following the merger, DCJ Group will provide £12,000,000 in gross written premiums, enabling the group to provide better protection than ever to local businesses and individuals. As DCJ Group’s Chief Executive, David Jones explained: “We have been in active discussions regarding working with Easi for some time, and this was the perfect deal for both parties.”

Dominic Staniforth, partner at Barber Harrison & Platt, the leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire, acted for DCJ Group on the acquisition with legal advice provided by a team led by Rod Shiers and Anna Cattee of BRM Solicitors.  HLW, led by Paul Simpson, advised Easi.
