Lisa obtains prestigious Corporate Finance Qualification

Lisa Leighton, Associate Director at Barber Harrison and Platt Corporate Finance is celebrating success in passing the Advanced Diploma in Corporate Finance. 

Lisa who qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 has been working in corporate finance for several years.  This new qualification which has been developed by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales means that Lisa can now use the designating letters “CF”.

Lisa is one of only eleven people in the UK to have obtained the CF designation via the examination route in what was the first sitting of the Advanced Diploma in the UK.  This brings the total number of members of the BHP corporate finance team holding the qualification to five, with four others having obtained the designation following qualification through the experience route. 

Lisa commented “Naturally I am delighted to be amongst the first few to be awarded this qualification and I believe that BHP now has the largest team of qualified corporate finance specialists in South Yorkshire”.
