BHP Rapid Growth Survey 2009

BHP 2009 Rapid Growth Survey – now closed to nominations

The second edition of the BHP Rapid Growth Survey has now been published and can be accessed here or via our Publications page under News and Events.

The survey, published in conjunction with The Star, is now in its second year and aims to recognise those businesses whose vision, energy and determination has generated substantial growth and thereby economic benefit for our region.

The survey is primarily based on information published at Companies House, however, as some businesses may not be required to file full accounts detailing turnover, nominations are also  encouraged directly from the region’s professional advisors and funders who work with high growth businesses.

By way of reminder, to qualify for inclusion in the survey businesses must have:

  • traded for at least three years
  • shown continuous growth in turnover over the previous three financial years
  • recorded a minimum turnover of £2m in the latest financial year
  • achieved profitability at operating level for the last three financial years
  • a registered or primary trading address in the S and DN postcode areas
    (excluding Humberside and North Lincolnshire).

This year’s survey was published in the Star Business Monthly on Wednesday 2 September and the closing date for nominations was Friday 14th August

If you would have any queries about the survey please contact Don Gray at don.gray@bhp.co.uk.
