Master Cutler Challenge

BHP have raised over £3,000 for St Luke’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice through taking part in the Master Cutler Challenge. This involved a number of events over a six month period ending in August, including an Easter Egg Hunt in the office grounds with over 35 children searching for 600 chocolate eggs!

The firm’s Challenge culminated in a sponsored Coast to Coast cycle ride which saw Tom Roberts, Don Gray, Kevin Davies, Chris Anthony and Paul Winwood riding over 140 miles as they journeyed from Whitehaven to Sunderland. This event was completed in a very respectable riding time of 16 and a half hours, especially considering that the team had to cross the hills of the Lake District and Pennines in inclement weather. The team were obviously not put off too much as they are now planning how they can top this event next year!
