AAT/ATT Trainees

Would you like a rewarding and interesting career as an accountant or taxation adviser? We have vacancies for A level students to join us to study the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) qualifications under the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme. We have three roles available at our Sheffield office and two roles available at our Chesterfield office.

As we are currently interviewing for these roles, if you wish to be considered for a position starting with us this summer,  you will need to complete and return the AAT/ATT Trainee Application Form which can be found here as soon as possible.

You will need at least five good GCSE grades (including English and Maths at B or above) and at least two A levels at C or above - one of which is ideally in a relevant subject (ie Maths, Accounting or Business).

You will have the determination to succeed and ability to demonstrate enthusiasm for providing our clients with the highest level of service.

In return, we offer full study support for the AAT/ATT qualification, which means we provide you with a generous amount of study leave to attend tuition, revision and the exams themselves, together with bearing all associated costs. We employ a leading firm of accountancy and taxation tutors to provide you with the best chance of success.

Successful students will often progress on to further professional qualifications, typically ACCA or CTA.

This is an interesting and rewarding opportunity to commence your accountancy or taxation career with the region’s leading independent accountancy practice.

Completed application forms should be return to Alison Beal, Barber Harrison & Platt, 2 Rutland Park, Sheffield S10 2PD, or via email Alison.beal@bhp.co.uk
